Michał Heydel

Michał Heydel, Co-President

BSc Statistics with Finance

Michał is originally from Kraków and last year was involved in the Polish Business Society as a Marketing Officer. He is a member of the Academy of the European Financial Congress. He is also a volunteer in the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. Besides studying, Michał is keen on various sports; in winter he teaches as a skiing instructor and in summertime tries his skills in wind-surfing.

Maciej Zasada

Maciej Zasada, Co-President

LLB Bachelor of Laws

Maciej is a second year Law student at LSE with particular interest in business. Having been responsible for liaising with our partners and sponsors last year, he is now co-organiser of the LSE SU Polish Economic Forum. In the meantime, if he doesn’t win poker tournaments he is a keen fencer and former member of the Polish national youth fencing team.

Marcin Polak

Marcin Polak, Secretary

BSc Accounting and Finance

Marcin is a second-year student of the BSc Accounting and Finance programme. He is interested in financial markets and aims to pursue a career in finance. In his free time, he enjoys practicing football and playing electric guitar. As a member of the LSE SU Polish Business Society he holds a secretary role and helps to coordinate efforts across different functions

Artur Lazoryk

Artur Lazoryk, Treasurer

BSc in Management

Artur has been involved in the Polish Business Society for 2 years already, first as an
Entertainment Officer and now as a Treasurer. Artur interned at Ernst & Young in the Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services department. In future, he wishes to work in the consulting industry and hopefully build his own company one day. Artur enjoys rowing and is a keen surfer in the summertime.

Mateusz Popek

Mateusz Popek, Head of Logistics

BSc Accounting and Finance

Mateusz was born and raised in Gdynia. He participated in the IB Diploma Programme at III LO im. Marynarki Wojennej. After graduating from high school, he moved to the UK to study Accounting and Finance at the London School of Economics and Political Science. As a member of the LSE SU PBS, Mateusz is responsible for logistics and events management.

Zuzanna Kraszewska

Zuzanna Kraszewska, Chairman

BSc Accounting and Finance

Now serving as the Chairman, Zuzanna was also the previous Co-President of the Society. She is a member of the Academy of European Financial Congress. She completed a game theory course at Brown University and various art courses at Central Saint Martins. Being passionate about mathematics and film, she is interested in fields where creativity is combined with a quantitative approach.


Aleksandra K. Wiśniewska, Chairman

BSc Politics and Philosophy

Aleksandra, former Co-President, gained professional experience in Chancellery of the Polish Parliament, defense and digital sectors of CEC Government Relations, and retail business in Southeast Asia. She represented Poland in UWC movement as a scholar of Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and lived with indigenous Mayans of Zapatista Army of National Liberation in Lacandon Jungle, Mexico. She is a member of the European Financial Congress Academy, Happy Kids NGO’s Supervisory Board and Professional Association of Diving Instructors. Her academic interest focuses on metaphysics, political manipulation and philosophy of Artificial Intelligence. Fascinated by art, Aleksandra acts in an upcoming film by Marcin Latałło.

Monika Auguścik

Monika Auguścik, Sponsorship and Partnership Officer

LLM Corporate and Securities Law with Operations Management

Monika is a postgraduate student of LLM Corporate and Securities Law with Operations Management at LSE. She comes from Lodz, where she completed IB Diploma Programme. Monika is Founder and Former President of the Polish Students Society at Westminster University. Monika has been playing the piano since the age of seven. She also enjoys playing tennis and travelling.

Oskar Braszczyński

Oskar Braszczyński, Marketing Officer

MSc in Management, Organisations and Governance

Oskar is responsible for PBS and PEF marketing activities. For the past two years, he was an Associate Manager in P&G Communications in Central Europe and a student of International Business, Liberal Arts and Creative Writing. As a passionate sailor, exploring the “new” brings out the best in him.


Louis De Bazelaire, Workshops Officer

BSc Philosophy and Economics

Louis, although half French, grew up in Warsaw and is a first year BSc Philosophy and Economics student at LSE. He is truly passionate about politics, film and sport. Louis is a member of the Polish Junior National Fencing Team.


Arvin Khanchandani, Workshops Officer

MSc EU Politics

Arvin is a self-declared Europeanist who is passionate about all things Europe and speaks five European languages. Apart from his studies at the LSE and ruminating on how to take over the world, he enjoys debating, reading about political philosophy and doing sports such as tennis and football.

Kinga Kitowska

Kinga Kitowska, Logistics Officer

BSc Mathematics and Economics

A first year undergraduate student in BSc Mathematics and Economics at LSE. Before starting her London experience, she lived in the Tricity and graduated from Gdynia Bilingual High School No. 3 and Noskowski 2nd Grade State Music School. Within the LSE SU PBS she is working with Iga and Mateusz in the logistics division. She is a music lover, mathematics enthusiast and fashion admirer.

Marta Kozielska

Marta Kozielska, NGOs Officer

BSc Social Anthropology

Marta is a second year BSc Social Anthropology student. Previously, she studies in Central Poland, Oregon, USA and Manchester. She is currently working with several NGOs which allow her to develop her interests in social inequality and international affairs. Currently, a volunteer for the Civil Affairs Institute, INSPRO. She is also Head of Events for London Globalist.

Karol Kras

Karol Kras, Entertainment Officer

BSc Social Policy

Besides attending opera shows, chess tournaments and gym, Karol develops his knowledge on contemporary education and ponders on ways to save the humankind. As an Entertainment Officer, he combines his experience in event management and imaginative approach to deliver the best experience for the LSE SU PBS. He is an improvisational theatre performer and a certified creativity teacher in Odyssey of the Mind and Destination Imagination programmes.

Iga Pilewska

Iga Pilewska, Logistics Officer

MSc Economics, Risk and Society

Iga finished BA Sociology and BA English Studies at the University of Warsaw. As a MSc Economy, Risk and Society student she is interested in risk management, facilitation and economic sociology. Apart from being a member of the LSE SU PBS she plays for the LSE Women’s Football team. In her free time Iga enjoys surfing and skiing.

Wiridiana Potocka

Wiridiana Potocka, Marketing Officer

MSc International Health Policy

Wiridiana grew up in Kraków, Poland, however she moved to England when she got a scholarship to Ampleforth College. She graduated from the University of York and is currently studying MSc International Health Policy (Health Economics) at LSE. Being passionate about science and global health, she likes to engage in less formal activities like dance and travelling.

Magdalena Siembab

Magdalena Siembab, Scholarship Fund and Educational Consulting Officer

MSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics

Originally from Chrzanów (Małopolska), Magdalena has graduated from the University of Southampton, where she read Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, and Economics, and the 5th High School in Kraków. During that time, she has also participated in student exchange programs in China and Germany and has worked for a short period in Luxembourg. However, she is most importantly a devoted fan of Novak Djokovic.

Agata is studying Economics and Management at King’s College London. Apart from being a part of a team preparing LSE SU Polish Economic Forum, she is also engaged in King’s Consulting and Financial Advisory Society in which she serves as a Marketing Manager. In her spare time she enjoys backpacking.

Andrzej Szerej

Andrzej Szerej, Entertainment Officer

MSc Management and Strategy

Andrzej works in the Entertainment subcommittee organising the ball for participants in Polish Economic Forum and other social events. Born in Lublin, he studied for his BA in Quantitative Methods at Warsaw School of Economics and MA in Finance at the University of Warsaw. Currently, he pursues a one year MSc in Management and Strategy at LSE. He is interested in Finance and History. In free time he plays basketball for LSE.

Katarzyna Szymańska

Kasia Szymańska, Scholarship Fund and Educational Consulting Officer

BSc Accounting and Finance

Kasia, born and raised in Gdańsk, Poland has been advising prosepctive LSE students on their application decisions for the past year. In recognition of her academic achievements she was awarded a Fahrenheit Scholarship. Her ambitious plan continues, as she considers linking her academic future with work in energy sector. In free time a postmodernist film fan and an avid volleyball player.

Izabela Urbanek, Marketing Officer

BSc Management
Izabela is a final year BSc Management student with strong interest in decision-making processes and techniques. She enjoys combining qualitative and quantitative approaches to analyse a situation. Izabela comes from Lublin, where she did International Baccalaureate. In her free time she curiously explores the beauty of Poland. In the LSE SU PBS she is responsible for marketing.

Wojciech Zych

Wojciech Zych, Sponsorship and Partnership Officer

Wojciech’s adventure with the UK started in 2012 when he received a full international scholarship to study A-Levels in the UK. Following that, he started a Law degree at LSE this year. He is a qualified organist and enjoys spending his free time playing music and reading about Philosophy and History. As a member of LSE SU PBS Team, Wojciech is responsible for relations with partners and sponsors.
